Industrial 95 W PoE Injector

The PLANET IPOE-171-95W is a single-port IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 injector that delivers up to 95 watts over one RJ45 STP output while accepting 12–48 V DC through a terminal block. It is built for industrial networks that need high-power PoE without AC mains equipment.

Outdoor installers and industrial integrators

This unit suits technicians deploying high-power wireless access points, PTZ cameras or LED lighting in environments from -40 °C to 75 °C where only DC power is available. Buyers who need AC input, multi-port injection or power budgets below the 95 W maximum should consider other form factors.

IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 compliance

The decisive specification is support for the 802.3bt 4-pair Type 4 standard, which enables the full 95 W output over Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable up to 100 metres. If the connected device requires a different PoE class or voltage, this injector will not power it correctly.

Questions about this item

What does the 95 W PoE output actually deliver to a powered device?

The injector supplies up to 95 W at 54 V DC over four pairs, compliant with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4, so a compatible camera or access point receives the full 95 W minus cable loss over 100 m.

Which Ethernet standard limits the data rate on the RJ45 ports?

The ports follow IEEE 802.3ab for 1000BASE-T, so the practical ceiling is 1 Gbps full duplex over Cat 5e or Cat 6 twisted pair up to 100 m.

What mounting hardware is included for industrial DIN-rail or wall installation?

A wall-mount kit is bundled; the unit measures 1.26" x 5.31" x 3.46" and weighs 1.04 lbs, fitting standard bracket holes for flat-surface or DIN-rail attachment.
