Single-port 60 W Ultra PoE injector

The PLANET POE-173 is a single-port injector that delivers up to 60 watts of power over four-pair unshielded twisted-pair cabling. It accepts AC input from 100 to 240 V through an IEC-320 C6 socket and passes Gigabit Ethernet data alongside DC 50 V power. The unit is designed for high-power devices such as PTZ speed domes, all-in-one touch PCs and remote digital signage displays. Plug-and-play operation requires no software configuration.

Sustained 60 W delivery over 100 m

The injector maintains its full 60 W output continuously across cable runs up to 100 metres using Cat. 5, 5e or 6 four-pair UTP. Power is supplied on all four pairs, reducing voltage drop compared with two-pair alternatives. Gigabit data throughput is unaffected by the simultaneous power feed. The design targets equipment that draws near the maximum budget for extended periods without throttling.

Passive cooling in a compact enclosure

The POE-173 uses a fanless metal housing that dissipates heat silently during normal operation. No moving parts mean zero acoustic output and no mechanical wear. Power consumption at the AC inlet tracks the connected load plus a small conversion overhead. The small footprint allows discreet placement on a desk, shelf or wall mount where ambient airflow is sufficient.
