Electronic hook switch cable

The Plantronics 38633-01 APV-65 EHS cable connects a compatible headset base to a supported desk phone. It replaces a mechanical handset lifter so calls can be answered and ended remotely. Office workers who use a Plantronics wireless system gain desk freedom without extra hardware. The accessory suits environments where a lifter would be impractical.

Sustained call handling

Electronic signalling operates continuously for each call without mechanical wear. The cable maintains the link between base and phone for the full duration of every conversation. Users who need reliable hook switching across long shifts avoid the failure points of a moving lifter arm. Buyers whose phone models lack EHS support cannot use this cable.
