700 MB Inkjet Printable CD-R Media

These discs provide 700 MB of write-once storage and support up to 52x recording speed. The white printable surface accepts inkjet printing right to the hub. They suit anyone archiving audio, photos, data files or creating labelled masters for duplication.

Hub Printable Surface and Compatibility

Each disc loads like a standard CD-R in any tray or slot-loading burner. The inkjet coating works with printers from Primera, Microboards, Rimage and other disc printers. Poor print quality usually comes from mismatched printer settings or dust on the surface before printing.

52x Speed Limit and Single Write

The 52x rating is the maximum the media supports; actual burn time depends on the drive and firmware. Content is written once and cannot be erased or rewritten. Buyers who need rewritable media or higher capacity storage should look at other formats.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the discs burned at 52X are readable after writing?

Burn a test disc at the maximum 52X speed, then verify the data in your burning software or play the audio on a standard CD player to confirm 700MB or 80 minutes recorded correctly.

What comes in the package and do I need a special printer for the white surface?

The cake box contains 100 white inkjet-printable CD-R discs; you need an inkjet disc printer such as those from Primera, Microboards or Rimage to print on the hub-printable surface.

Which capacity and speed should I choose for music versus data archiving?

All discs are 700MB and support 52X; this single specification handles both 80 minutes of audio and 700MB of data, so no alternative version or capacity exists to select.
