PlexDisc Inc. 645-C12 50GB 6X BD-R DL Inkjet Printable 10 Packs dvd media

50GB BD-R DL media for high-capacity archiving

The PlexDisc Inc. 645-C12 pack supplies ten dual-layer Blu-ray recordable discs, each holding 50GB of data. They are aimed at users who need to store large photo libraries, video projects or system backups on removable optical media. The white inkjet-printable surface allows direct disc labelling with a compatible printer.

Capacity and write speed limits

Each disc provides 50GB of write-once storage and supports recording at up to 6X BD-R speed. The dual-layer format doubles the capacity of single-layer BD-R media, reducing the number of discs required for big archives. Write performance will drop if the host drive cannot sustain the 6X rate or if buffer under-runs occur during long sessions.

Thermal and power behaviour in normal use

Optical media generate negligible heat and draw no power themselves; thermal load and noise depend entirely on the burner drive. Under typical desktop use the discs remain passive, so system acoustics and power consumption are unchanged. Store the media in a cool, dry environment to preserve long-term readability.
