Professional SATA DVD writer

The Plextor PXL-910S is a 5.25 inch internal drive that writes DVD+R and DVD-R at 16x and reads both at 16x. It handles CD-R at 48x and CD-RW at 24x for legacy disc creation. The bare unit targets desktop builders and duplicator operators who need reliable optical media support.

SATA installation with no extras

The drive uses a 7 pin data connector and a 15 pin power connector for standard SATA cabling. No cables, screws or software are included in the box. Installers must supply their own SATA leads and mounting hardware before the drive will function.

Sustained optical throughput

DVD dual layer media writes at 12x and reads at 12x for consistent long-session performance. DVD-RAM operates at 8x for random-access archival workloads. Access times sit at 140ms for CD and 200ms for DVD during extended use.
