The adapter only functions when the host port supplies both data and Power Delivery; plain USB-A or non-PD USB-C ports will not provide charging or the 2.5Gbps link. Bus power alone is sufficient for Ethernet connectivity if no charger is attached. A charger and cable are not included.

100W pass-through charging limit
