PLUGTUL 8-Inch 10-Pack Extension Cords

This set contains ten short power extension cords measuring eight inches each. They feature a 16AWG SJTW wire gauge rated for 13 amps and 1625 watts at 125 volts. Each cord uses a NEMA 5-15P male plug and a NEMA 5-15R female connector. The package weighs 1.7 pounds.

Indoor and Outdoor Power Distribution

These cords suit users needing to connect multiple devices close to a single outlet or power strip. The water-resistant PVC jacket handles temperatures from minus 40°F to 140°F for outdoor tasks. Buyers who need longer reach between wall sockets and appliances should look at something else.

Build Integration with Standard Outlets

The male-to-female Type B format plugs directly into existing North American receptacles without adapters. Reinforced nickel-plated brass blades resist bending during frequent insertion. The short length reduces cable clutter behind furniture or inside equipment racks. ETL listing confirms compliance with applicable safety standards.

Questions about this item

What type of wall outlet and device plug does the NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-15R connector fit?

The male NEMA 5-15P plugs into a standard North American 125 V Type B wall outlet, and the female NEMA 5-15R accepts any matching three-prong appliance or charger plug.

Can I keep using my older 16 AWG power strips with these 8-inch cords without exceeding the 13 A rating?

Yes, each cord is rated for 13 A and 1625 W at 125 V, so the combined load of all devices on the strip must stay at or below that limit.

How do I confirm the ETL-listed SJTW jacket is performing correctly after installation?

Verify the cord remains flexible from -40 °F to +140 °F, shows no cracking or water ingress on the PVC jacket, and the nickel-plated blades stay firmly seated without overheating.
