POGOLAB BKW-X1 Wireless XLR System

The POGOLAB BKW-X1 turns any XLR microphone into a wireless setup using 2.4 GHz transmission. It suits performers, speakers and streamers who want cable-free movement without replacing their existing dynamic or condenser microphones. The system includes a transmitter and receiver that pair automatically for plug-and-play operation.

150ft Range and 2.4 GHz Operation

The 2.4 GHz link delivers a line-of-sight range up to 150 feet, giving freedom to roam on stage or in a venue. As with any 2.4 GHz device, walls, metal structures and other wireless gear such as Wi-Fi routers can reduce the practical distance. The link is fixed to this band and cannot be switched to another frequency.

12-Hour Battery and 48V Phantom Power

A full charge provides up to 12 hours of runtime with a dynamic microphone. Supplying 48 V phantom power for a condenser microphone draws extra current and shortens the available operating time. The unit ships with a sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio of 110 dB. Builders needing more than 12 hours per session or a different wireless band will need another solution.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the dynamic-mic or condenser-mic version of the BKW-X1?

The BKW-X1 is a single system that works with both dynamic and condenser microphones; enable 48 V phantom power only when a condenser mic is connected.

What does the 110 dB sensitivity figure mean once the transmitter is on stage?

A 110 dB sensitivity rating means the wireless link captures quiet sources cleanly before the signal reaches your mixer or interface.

How does the 2.4 GHz band affect the 150 ft range in practice?

The 2.4 GHz link delivers up to 150 ft line-of-sight; walls, crowds or other 2.4 GHz traffic will reduce the reliable distance.
