Polar Lights 1/1000 Scale Decal Set

This officially licensed decal set reproduces the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 Aztec paneling as seen in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds television series from 2022. It is designed for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who want authentic surface detailing on their 1/1000 scale model kit. The package includes three sheets of top-quality water-release decals.

Upgrade from basic kit markings

Factory decals supplied with standard kits often lack the fine panel resolution needed for the Strange New Worlds configuration. This set replaces them with comprehensive Aztec paneling decals that cover most of the model's surface for a screen-accurate finish. The jump is worth it when the builder wants a display piece that matches the 2022-current TV series appearance exactly.

Check model scale and decal experience

Verify that your kit is 1/1000 scale so the panel lines align correctly with the hull geometry. Water-release application requires a clean surface, setting solution, and patience to avoid silvering or tearing the thin film. Builders new to large decal sheets should practice on a spare area before committing to the full ship.

Questions about this item

What scale model does the 1/1000 Aztec decal set fit?

The decals are made for a 1/1000 scale USS Enterprise NCC-1701 kit and cover most of the hull surface with authentic panel detailing.

How are the water-release decals applied, and what step do builders often skip?

Soak each decal in water until it slides on the backing, position it on the model, then blot excess moisture; skipping the final setting solution step can leave edges lifted.

When will the decals need replacement or touch-up after application?

Once sealed with a clear coat the aztec panel decals are permanent; only physical damage or harsh cleaning would require a new sheet from the three supplied.
