Multitap connector with three ports accepting 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG stranded copper or aluminum conductors, rated 600 V and 194 °F, cULus listed to UL 486A and UL 486B
The Polaris Vision Tap IPL1/0-3CB is a three-port multitap connector built with an aluminum body and clear plastisol insulation. It accepts stranded copper or aluminum conductors ranging from 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG and is secured with a 3/16 inch hex head. The connector carries cULus certification and meets UL 486A and UL 486B standards.
Electricians running parallel taps on aluminum or copper wire up to 1/0 AWG will find this connector fits the job. It is not intended for conductors larger than 1/0 AWG or for installations requiring more than three ports. Buyers needing higher port counts or larger wire ranges should look at other configurations.
The compact three-port layout lets you join multiple conductors inside a junction box or panel without stacking separate lugs. Rated for 600 volts and 194 degrees Fahrenheit, it works in typical residential and commercial power circuits. The plastisol cover eliminates the need for separate tape or heat-shrink, saving installation time.

The connector is rated for stranded copper wire down to 14 AWG minimum, so any conductor at or above that gauge will fit securely in each of the three ports.
Yes, the Plastisol finish is designed for continuous operation up to 194 °F at the full 600 V rating, matching the cULus and UL 486A/486B listings for the connector.
Use a 3/16 in hex driver to tighten each set-screw until the hex head seats firmly; the connector’s hex-head design gives a positive mechanical stop so you can feel when the connection is secure.
