POLARIS VRX iQ+ Robotic Pool Cleaner with iAquaLink Control 70 ft Cable

Intelligent Robotic Pool Cleaner

The Polaris VRX iQ+ is a robotic pool cleaner designed for residential pool owners who want automated, app-driven maintenance. It connects to home Wi-Fi for remote monitoring and control, allowing users to start, stop or schedule cleaning cycles from a smartphone. The unit includes a 70 ft double-insulated floating cable that supplies power and data while resisting tangles. Its illuminated extra-large filter canister captures debris and signals when full via the app and the control box.

Wi-Fi Connectivity and Cable Range

The cleaner relies on a home Wi-Fi network for all smart features, so reliable coverage at the poolside is required for scheduling, spot cleaning and over-the-air updates. The 70 ft cable sets the maximum reach from the power supply to the farthest point of the pool; pools larger than this radius will leave areas unreachable. The floating design keeps the cable on the surface, but heavy wind or complex pool geometry can still cause snags that interrupt a cycle.

Upgrade from Manual or Basic Automatic Cleaners

This model replaces manual vacuums, suction-side cleaners and older robotic units that lack Wi-Fi scheduling or targeted spot cleaning. The jump is worth it when you want to define custom cleaning zones, receive canister-full alerts without lifting the lid, and apply firmware improvements automatically. It is not suited for commercial pools that exceed the cable length or for owners who prefer a completely cordless, battery-operated robot.
