This power kit supplies a 55V 36W IEEE 802.3 at compliant mid-span injector for RealPresence Trio 8800 and Trio Visual+ devices. It delivers power and data over a single Ethernet link up to 1000 Mbps. The unit accepts a 100-240V 0.8A input for worldwide use. It is built for conference-room deployments that need a tidy, standards-based power solution.

Integration into a meeting-room setup

The injector sits between the network switch and the Trio unit, removing the need for a local AC outlet at the device. A 2.1 m Ethernet cable and a 2.7 m NA power cord are included in the box. Gigabit pass-through keeps the wired network connection at full speed. Installers only need a standard Ethernet drop and a mains socket near the switch or rack.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The injector operates without a fan, so it adds no audible noise to the room. It draws up to 0.8A at 100-240V AC while providing 36W at 55V to the endpoint. Normal use stays within the IEEE 802.3 at power envelope with no extra cooling required. The compact enclosure runs cool under continuous load.
