Converts composite RCA video to HDMI at 1080p or 720p with included cables and USB power
The Portholic RCA to HDMI converter connects composite video sources such as PS one, PS2, PS3, N64, Xbox, VHS and DVD players to an HDMI display. It is a one-way adapter that requires no drivers and draws power from the included USB cable.
The device only outputs at 1080p or 720p and does not support 4K or 3D signals. It accepts NTSC and PAL standards including NTSC3.58, NTSC4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N, and a side switch selects 720p when the source exceeds 1080p.
It replaces a missing composite input on a modern television or monitor, letting legacy hardware work without an older set. The upgrade is worthwhile when the display lacks native RCA ports and the source resolution stays within 1080p.
