POWER FIRST 22EZ29 Splice Wire Connector 750 kcmil 600 V Black

SKU CH-3HC5-9KZF0

A tin-plated copper splice connector for 750 kcmil stranded wire rated to 600 V with four crimps and a 3.03 in overall length

  • Handles 750 kcmil copper conductors for heavy-duty splicing
  • Rated 600 V with 300 °F max operating temperature
  • Seamless tin-plated barrel resists corrosion and ensures solid contact
  • UL 486A-486B listed and RoHS compliant for code compliance
  • Compact 3.03 in length fits tight enclosures easily

What the POWER FIRST 22EZ29 splice connector is

This black copper connector joins a single 750 kcmil stranded copper conductor in a short-barrel format. It is built for electricians who need a permanent, tin-plated splice rated to 600 V and compliant with ANSI and UL 486A-486B standards.

The wire size that decides fit

Only 750 kcmil stranded copper fits; the minimum and maximum wire size are identical, so any other gauge will not seat properly. The barrel inside diameter is 1.06 in and the outside diameter is 1.33 in, requiring a die code 106 tool for the four specified crimps.

Behaviour under sustained load

The seamless barrel and tin plating maintain a low-resistance joint up to the rated 300 °F maximum operating temperature. RoHS-compliant copper construction resists creep during long-term thermal cycling, keeping the splice secure without degradation.

Questions about this item

What does the 750 kcmil rating mean when I crimp this connector onto a cable?

It means the connector accepts a single 750 kcmil stranded copper conductor and nothing larger or smaller.

The spec lists UL 486A-486B and 600 V — what does that limit in actual use?

The connector is rated for up to 600 volts and meets the UL splice standard for copper conductors.

Will the 1.33 inch barrel OD and 3.03 inch length fit my standard crimp tool and panel space?

The barrel outside diameter is 1.33 in and overall length is 3.03 in; it requires a die code 106 tool and four crimps.
