Fortnite Drift Wired Headset

The PowerA XBHS0461-01 is an officially licensed stereo headset for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows 10/11. It connects through a 3.5 mm jack on the controller or device and includes a code for a bonus Fortnite Signal Override Wrap. The ultra-lightweight frame weighs 0.22 kilograms and uses breathable fabric earpads with an adjustable headband for long sessions. A flexible boom microphone detaches for travel or solo play.

Passive Cooling and Power

The wired design draws no battery power and needs no recharging, so the headset produces no heat and no fan noise during use. On-ear controls provide a volume slider and a microphone mute button for instant adjustments without software. The 50 mm dynamic speaker drivers deliver game and chat audio through a purely analogue connection. There is no active noise cancelling circuitry to add weight or complexity.

Upgrade From Basic Headsets

This headset replaces pack-in mono earpieces or entry-level stereo sets that lack detachable microphones and on-ear volume controls. The jump is worth it when you need a lightweight, officially licensed option with a removable boom mic for travel and a Fortnite cosmetic bonus. Buyers who want wireless freedom, active noise cancellation or surround sound processing should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I plug this headset into my Xbox controller?

Insert the 3.5 mm jack into the controller's port, then use the on-ear volume slider and mute button; no batteries are required.

Which parts of this headset can be replaced if they wear out?

The flexible boom microphone detaches for travel and can be swapped; the ear pads and headband are fixed to the lightweight frame.

How long can I play before the cable or drivers become a problem?

The 50 mm dynamic drivers and passive wired connection have no battery limit; the 0.22 kg build avoids heat, so the cable is the first wear point.
