10 ft 14 AWG Extension Cord

The POWGRN 10 ft extension cord uses 14/3 gauge copper wire rated for 15 A at 125 V, delivering up to 1875 W. It carries ETL and cETL listings for indoor and outdoor safety. The three-prong NEMA 5-15 connectors suit standard North American outlets and equipment plugs.

Flat Plug for Tight Spaces

A low-profile flat plug fits behind desks, bookshelves or furniture where a standard moulded plug would foul. The pull-resistant strain relief reduces cable fatigue when the cord is bent in confined gaps. Using this short cord for bulky adapters leaves power-strip outlets free for other devices.

1875 W Continuous Capacity

At the full 15 A rating the cord handles 1875 W, enough for computers, monitors, printers and similar office or home loads. It is not intended for appliances that exceed 15 A or for permanent wiring substitute applications where fixed installation is required.

Questions about this item

Will the 14 AWG copper conductors overheat if I draw the full 15 A continuously?

The cord is rated for 15 A at 125 V; 14 AWG copper handles that load within its ampacity, so sustained use at the rated current will not cause overheating.

Does the flat plug run warm or make noise after hours of powering a monitor and printer?

A passive cable has no fan or active parts, so it produces no audible noise; the flat plug stays at ambient temperature under normal 15 A loads.

My wall outlet is a standard NEMA 5-15R — will the cord's male end fit directly?

Yes, the male plug is NEMA 5-15P and the female socket is NEMA 5-15R, matching standard 125 V household receptacles.
