The bit is sized for 1/2in inner-diameter tubing with a 5/8in outer diameter, covering common PETG and PMMA rigid tube. It removes material quickly at higher RPM for length trimming, then smooths the cut at mid-to-low RPM for a flush finish. Copper tubing is not recommended because the metal dulls the cutting edges extremely fast. Results depend on the tubing’s own dimensional tolerances.
