Pro Star USB CD Player for 2019-2026 Aston Martin

This Pro Star unit adds a single-disc CD player to Aston Martin V8 Vantage models from 2019 through 2026. It connects directly to the factory USB port and draws power from that same connection. The device works with the car's original radio and steering wheel controls for track selection and volume.

Replaces missing factory CD players in 2019-2026

Many 2019-2026 Aston Martin V8 Vantage vehicles left the factory without a built-in CD drive. This unit restores physical disc playback without replacing the head unit or running new wiring. The upgrade is worthwhile for owners who still use CD collections and want integration with the existing infotainment controls.

Plug-and-play install with mandatory indexing wait

Installation requires only plugging the cable into the vehicle's USB port and placing the unit on the console, in the glove box, or any reachable spot. No tools or extra wiring are needed. The process fails if the initial CD indexing is interrupted; the manual requires a full two-minute wait before use. If interrupted, a different disc must be inserted and the setup restarted from step one.

Questions about this item

Does the Pro Star CD player need a separate power cable to work in the Aston Martin V8 Vantage?

No, the unit is powered directly through the vehicle's USB port, so no extra wiring or power supply is required.

What is the critical step during installation that causes setup issues if skipped?

You must allow a full two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using the player; interrupting this process means restarting from step one with a different disc.

Can the player be moved between the centre console and glove box without re-installing?

Yes, the device mounts vertically or horizontally anywhere the USB cable reaches, so you can reposition it freely.
