Pro Star USB CD Player 2019-2026

This external CD player adds disc playback to Audi e-tron Sportback models from 2019 through 2026. It connects directly to the factory USB port and is powered through the same connection. Music is controlled using the vehicle's original radio or steering wheel buttons. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally wherever the cable reaches.

Owners who want CD playback without dashboard

Drivers who prefer listening to their existing CD collection will find this a direct solution. Buyers who need a second disc changer or a unit that reads DVD media should look at other options. The device does not add Bluetooth streaming to cars that lack the feature from the factory.

Plug-and-play USB connection

Installation requires only plugging the cable into the vehicle USB port and waiting two minutes for the disc to index. No wiring, tools or additional software are involved. Interrupting the indexing process means restarting the setup with a different disc.

Questions about this item

Does the USB connection on this Pro Star CD player supply both power and data for CarPlay?

Yes, the single USB cable delivers power to the drive and carries the audio and control signals needed for CarPlay operation.

What mounting options are available for the external CD unit in the e-tron Sportback?

The player can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches.

Why must I wait two minutes after inserting the first CD before using the system?

The drive indexes the disc during that period; interrupting it forces you to restart the entire setup with a different CD.
