Add CD playback to 2019-2026 Audi models

The Pro Star USB CD player restores disc playback for Audi S3, S4, S5, S6, S7 and S8 vehicles that left the factory without a built-in drive. It draws power and communicates through the car's existing USB port, so no extra wiring or tools are needed. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches.

Handles standard audio CDs

The single-slot mechanism reads conventional music CDs and buffers the stream to prevent skips caused by road vibration. Indexing takes about two minutes after a disc is inserted; interrupting that process means restarting the setup with a different disc. It does not support DVD video, Blu-ray or data discs packed with MP3 files.

Steering-wheel and factory-radio control retained

Once connected, track selection, volume and source switching work through the vehicle's original steering-wheel buttons and head-unit interface. A printed instruction manual walks through the pairing and indexing steps. No separate software, app or firmware update is supplied with the hardware.

Questions about this item

Will the Pro Star USB CD player work with the factory radio and steering wheel controls in my 2019 Audi S4?

Yes, it is designed for 2019 to 2026 Audi S3, S4, S5, S6, S7 and S8 models and controls music through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

How can I confirm the Pro Star USB CD player is working correctly after plugging it in?

Insert a CD and wait up to two minutes for indexing to finish; the factory radio display should then show track information and respond to skip commands.

The package includes the USB CD player unit and printed instructions; no extra wiring, tools or power adapter are required because it draws power from the car USB port.
