Add CD Playback to Trailblazer

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Chevrolet Trailblazer models that left the factory without one. It connects through the vehicle's existing USB port and draws power from the same connection. The kit includes printed instructions for the required indexing step.

Plug-and-Play Integration

Installation requires no extra wiring, tools or adapters beyond the supplied cable. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the USB cable reaches. Once indexed, track control works through the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons.

Single-Disc Capacity

The device reads one standard CD at a time and relies on the vehicle's USB port for both data and power. It does not support DVD playback, internal storage or direct file transfer from the disc. Buyers who want multi-disc changing or ripping to a library will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

How long does the CD indexing process take before the player is ready?

The unit needs about two minutes to finish indexing a disc after insertion; interrupting it means starting the whole setup again with a different CD.

Does the player draw enough current to stress the vehicle USB port during all-day use?

It is powered entirely from the car's USB port, so heat and power draw are limited to what that port can supply.

Which factory controls operate the CD player once it is plugged in?

Playback is handled through the vehicle's original radio or steering-wheel buttons, so no extra remote or dashboard module is needed.
