Pro Star USB CD Player for BMW 4 Series

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019 through 2026 BMW 4 Series vehicles that lack a factory CD drive. It connects through the car's USB port and is powered by that connection, so no extra wiring or power supply is needed. The unit works with the vehicle's existing radio and steering wheel controls for track selection and volume.

Installation and common issues

Installation is plug-and-play: insert the cable into the USB port, place the player in a convenient spot, and follow the printed instructions. A critical step is allowing two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using the controls; interrupting this process requires starting over with a different disc and repeating the full procedure from step one.

Drivers who need CD playback in a modern BMW 4

This device suits owners of compatible BMW 4 Series models who want to listen to physical CDs through the factory audio system without dashboard modification. It is not for drivers whose vehicles lack a USB port, who need multi-disc changing capability, or who want to play DVD video or Blu-ray media.
