Jaguar F-Pace CD solution

This Pro Star unit adds a single-disc CD player to 2019-2026 Jaguar F-Pace models that lack a factory deck. It draws power and data from the vehicle USB port with no extra wiring or tools required. The compact drive can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches.

Plug-and-play integration

The package includes a printed instruction manual that guides the installer through the mandatory two-minute disc-indexing sequence. Once indexed, track control is handled by the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons, so no separate remote or app is needed. Bluetooth capability is enabled through the same USB connection for wireless audio streaming.

USB-port dependency

Operation is limited to vehicles equipped with a compatible USB port that can supply sufficient current for the drive. The indexing routine must complete uninterrupted; if it is stopped early the process must be restarted from step one with a different disc. Cars without an accessible USB port or with restricted port output cannot use this player.

Questions about this item

Will the laser mechanism need cleaning or replacement after extended use?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts; if the laser degrades the whole player must be replaced.

What limits continuous playback during a long drive?

The USB port supplies all power, so playback stops if the vehicle USB port cuts current.

Does the player become hot or noisy when left running all day?

It draws only USB power with no fan, so it stays cool and silent during extended use.
