Vehicle Compatibility

This Pro Star Bluetooth USB CD player is designed for 2019 through 2026 Kia Sedona models that left the factory without a built-in disc drive. It lets owners who still use physical media listen to their existing CD collections through the vehicle's original audio system.

Installation Requirements

The unit draws power and communicates through the car's existing USB port, so no extra wiring, adapters or tools are needed. It can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or any location where the supplied cable reaches the port, leaving the factory radio and steering-wheel controls fully functional.

Disc Initialisation

After inserting a disc the player indexes the contents for about two minutes before playback begins. Interrupting that process means the set-up must be restarted from the beginning with a different disc, so the driver should allow the indexing to finish before using the audio controls.

Questions about this item

How long does the CD indexing process take before the player is ready to use?

The manufacturer specifies a 2-minute indexing period after inserting a CD; interrupting this process requires restarting the installation steps with a different disc.

Does the unit need a separate power connection or does it draw power from the vehicle USB port?

It is powered entirely through the car's USB port, so no extra wiring or external power supply is required.

What factory features must the vehicle already have for this CD player to function?

The vehicle must be a 2019-2026 Kia Sedona equipped with a USB port and factory radio or steering-wheel audio controls for playback operation.
