Add CD Playback to 2019-2026 Sorento

This Pro Star USB CD player lets Kia Sorento owners from 2019 through 2026 play physical discs again. It connects directly to the factory USB port and draws power from the same connection. Music is controlled through the existing radio or steering wheel buttons. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally wherever the cable reaches.

Drivers who want disc playback without dash work

Suits owners who miss having a built-in CD slot and prefer a simple plug-in device. Not for buyers who need DVD video playback, multi-disc changers or Bluetooth streaming from a phone. Installers who cannot wait for the indexing period should also consider other options.

Requires two-minute CD indexing on first use

The single specification that decides fitment is the mandatory indexing time. Each new disc must run uninterrupted for two minutes before the system recognises it. Interrupting the process forces a full restart with a different disc and the complete setup sequence again.

Questions about this item

Does my 2019-2026 Kia Sorento need a factory USB port for this Pro Star CD player to work?

Yes, the unit draws power and communicates through the vehicle's USB port, so a functional factory USB port is required for operation.

Will the Pro Star CD player let me keep using my Sorento's steering wheel audio controls?

The device is designed to integrate with the factory radio, allowing track navigation and volume adjustments via the existing steering wheel buttons.

How do I confirm the Pro Star CD player has finished indexing a disc after I insert it?

Wait approximately two minutes for the indexing process to complete; the factory radio will then display track information and allow normal playback control.
