Plug-and-play CD player for 2019-2026 Nissan Altima

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to Altima models that lack a factory CD drive. It draws power from the vehicle’s USB port and requires no extra wiring or tools. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the cable reaches.

Sustained playback after a two-minute index

Each disc needs about two minutes to finish indexing before the system is ready for continuous use. Interrupting that process means restarting the full installation sequence with a different CD. Once indexed, the player streams audio steadily through the factory radio or steering-wheel controls without further delays.

Limited to vehicles with an accessible USB port

The device only works where a USB port is present and can supply enough current for the drive. Cars without a USB port, or those whose port is reserved for other functions, cannot use this player. Compatibility is confined to the 2019-2026 Altima range specified by the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

Does the USB-powered Pro Star CD player draw enough current to heat up or make noise during long drives?

It runs from the car's USB port with no fan or moving parts besides the disc motor, so heat and noise stay minimal during all-day use.

What factory equipment must my 2019-2026 Nissan Altima already have for this Pro Star unit to work?

A functional USB port and the original radio or steering-wheel controls are required; the player plugs directly into that port with no extra wiring.

Will the Pro Star CD player still let me use the Altima's existing steering-wheel buttons and factory display?

Yes — track, volume and source commands pass through the original controls and screen exactly as they do with the built-in system.
