External CD player for VW Crafter

This Pro Star unit adds a single-disc CD drive to 2019 to 2026 Volkswagen Crafter models that lack a factory player. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. No extra wiring or tools are required for installation.

USB plug-and-play interface

The cable plugs straight into the Crafter's existing USB socket, enabling immediate communication with the factory radio and steering-wheel controls. A two-minute indexing period is mandatory after inserting a disc; interrupting it forces a full restart of the setup procedure.

Single-disc capacity with flexible mounting

The player handles one standard audio CD at a time and can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the USB cable reaches. It does not support multi-disc changers or media formats beyond standard CDs.
