Pro Star CD Player for Volkswagen ID.3

This Pro Star unit adds a single-disc CD player to 2019-2026 Volkswagen ID.3 models that lack a factory deck. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. Factory radio and steering-wheel controls manage playback once the device is recognised.

Sustained operation after indexing period

The manufacturer stresses a mandatory two-minute indexing window after a disc is inserted before the system becomes stable. Interrupting this process forces a complete restart of the setup routine with a different disc. Once indexed, the player runs continuously from USB power without additional wiring.

Flexible mounting and USB tether

The compact mechanism can be secured vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or wherever the supplied cable reaches the USB port. No tools or permanent modifications are required for installation. Buyers who need multi-disc changers or direct auxiliary input will not find those features here.
