Pro Star Bluetooth USB CD Player 2019-2026 VW ID.5

Pro Star USB CD Player for VW ID.5

This Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Volkswagen ID.5 models that lack a factory unit. It draws power directly from the vehicle's USB port and requires no additional wiring or tools for installation. The device is designed for drivers who want to listen to their existing CD collections through the car's original audio system. Buyers who need multi-disc changers or DVD playback will not find those functions here.

Single-disc capacity with USB-powered operation

The unit plays standard audio CDs and indexes each disc in roughly two minutes before playback begins. Interrupting the indexing process means restarting the procedure with a different disc and repeating the first installation step. It handles one disc at a time and offers no internal storage for ripping or caching tracks. Users who want immediate track access without the indexing wait will find this limitation inconvenient.

Flexible mounting with factory control integration

The player can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches. Once connected, track navigation works through the factory radio or steering wheel controls, keeping the driver's hands in their usual positions. Printed instructions are included for the initial setup routine. Installers who require a permanent DIN-slot fit or a dedicated mounting bracket will not find those options in the package.
