External CD Player for Alfa Romeo Giulia

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds a disc drive to 2019-2026 Alfa Romeo Giulia models that lack a factory CD player. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay system. No additional wiring or tools are required for installation. The unit draws power from the USB connection.

Replaces Missing Factory CD Player

This device restores the ability to play physical CDs in vehicles where the manufacturer omitted a built-in drive. The upgrade is worthwhile for owners who maintain a CD collection and want direct playback through the factory radio and steering wheel controls. Allow two minutes for the disc to finish indexing during initial setup to avoid configuration issues.

Suits Giulia Owners With CD Collections

This player suits drivers who want to listen to their existing CD library through the car's original audio interface. It is not for buyers who only stream music or use digital files stored on a phone. It is also not for vehicles outside the 2019-2026 Giulia range or for cars without a compatible USB port and CarPlay support.

Questions about this item

Where can the Pro Star CD player be mounted in the Alfa Romeo Giulia?

It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches the vehicle's USB port.

What step do installers often miss during the set-up process?

Allowing a full two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using the unit; interrupting this step requires restarting the installation with a different disc.

What ongoing maintenance does the external CD player require?

No scheduled maintenance is needed; the unit draws power from the USB port and has no user-serviceable parts, so only occasional lens cleaning may be required over time.
