Vehicle Compatibility

This Pro Star USB CD player is designed for 2019 to 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 6 models. It adds a single-disc CD drive to vehicles that no longer include one from the factory. The unit connects directly to the car's USB port for both power and CarPlay communication. No additional wiring or tools are required for installation.

Who It Suits

Owners of the listed Hyundai models who want to play physical CDs through the factory infotainment system will find this a direct plug-and-play solution. It is not for drivers whose vehicles lack a USB port or do not support CarPlay. Buyers needing multi-disc changers or Bluetooth streaming from the CD unit itself should look elsewhere.

Installation Requirement

The manufacturer highlights a mandatory two-minute indexing period after inserting the first CD. Interrupting this process requires restarting the full setup routine with a different disc. The cable must reach the USB port from the chosen mounting location on the centre console or in the glove box.
