Ferrari 12Cilindri CD integration

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a physical disc drive to 2019 through 2026 Ferrari 12Cilindri models that no longer include one. It connects directly to the vehicle USB port so the factory infotainment system recognises the disc through CarPlay. No extra wiring or tools are required for the installation. The unit draws power from the same USB connection.

Plug-and-play capacity and limits

A single disc is indexed in roughly two minutes before playback begins; interrupting that process means restarting with a fresh disc and repeating the steps. The device handles one CD at a time and relies on the car’s own screen and steering-wheel buttons for navigation. It does not add Bluetooth, streaming services or any additional media formats beyond the disc itself.

Mounting flexibility and manual

The compact drive can be secured vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box or wherever the supplied cable reaches the USB port. A printed instruction sheet walks through the indexing wait time and the reset procedure if setup is interrupted. No software downloads or firmware updates are mentioned.
