Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player for Ferrari Roma

This external CD player adds disc playback to Ferrari Roma models from 2019 through 2026 that lack a factory unit. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and integrates with Apple CarPlay so the factory radio or steering wheel controls manage playback. The device is powered entirely by the USB connection and requires no separate power supply.

Plug-and-play USB installation

The cable plugs directly into the car's USB port with no additional wiring or tools required. The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the cable reaches. Printed instructions are included and the manufacturer advises allowing two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use.

Replaces missing factory CD players in late-model

This product addresses the removal of built-in CD drives from recent Ferrari Roma vehicles. The upgrade is worthwhile for owners who still use physical discs and want them controlled through the original infotainment system. Buyers who only stream audio or have no CDs will not benefit from this accessory.

Questions about this item

Does the USB CarPlay connection limit CD audio quality or playback speed?

The player indexes each disc for about two minutes after insertion; once indexed it plays through the factory CarPlay interface at the vehicle's native USB audio rate.

What space and orientation does the unit need for mounting in a Ferrari Roma?

It can sit vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the supplied USB cable reaches the port.

What is the indexing step that causes most setup problems, and how do I avoid it?

Wait the full two minutes after inserting the first CD before using the controls; interrupting it forces you to restart the process with a different disc from step one.
