Pro Star CarPlay CD Player for Fiat 600e

The Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player is an add-on single-disc drive built for the Fiat 600e across the 2019-2026 model years. It gives owners a way to play physical CDs in a vehicle that left the factory without a built-in player. The unit draws power and data from the car’s USB port and is controlled through the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons.

USB port indexing delay

The device requires a two-minute indexing period after a disc is inserted before it becomes fully operational. Interrupting this process forces the user to restart the installation sequence with a different disc and repeat every step from the beginning. The cable must reach the vehicle’s USB port, so mounting location is limited by that tether.

Plug-and-play USB installation

No additional wiring, tools or adapters are needed; the CD player connects directly to the car’s USB port. Printed instructions are included and the drive can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches.

Questions about this item

Is this the only Pro Star CD player version for the 2019-2026 Fiat 600e?

The supplier lists a single Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player described as compatible with the 2019-2026 Fiat 600e, with no alternative capacities or versions mentioned.

How does the CarPlay integration work once the CD player is plugged into the Fiat 600e USB port?

After plugging the USB cable into the vehicle port, the CD player indexes the disc for about two minutes, then CarPlay lets you control playback from the factory radio or steering wheel controls.

What does the USB interface limit in practice for this CD player?

The USB connection supplies power and data for CarPlay, so the player only works while the vehicle USB port is active and the cable can reach that port.
