Pro Star USB CD Player for Ford GT

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds an external single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Ford GT models that lack a factory CD slot. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay interface so the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons control playback.

Plug-and-play USB integration

Installation requires no extra wiring or tools; the unit draws power from the USB port and can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches. The disc needs about two minutes to finish indexing before use, and interrupting that process means restarting the set-up with a new disc.

Ideal for CD owners in newer Ford GTs

This suits drivers who still listen to physical CDs and want a simple, reversible add-on that works with the car's native controls. Buyers who need multi-disc changers, Bluetooth streaming or support for other vehicle brands should look at alternative solutions.

Questions about this item

How long must I wait for a disc to finish indexing before the CD player is ready to use?

Allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing; if the process is interrupted, insert a different disc and restart the installation from step one.

Does the unit draw power from the vehicle USB port or need a separate supply?

It is powered entirely through the car's USB port, so no extra wiring or external power adapter is required.

What factory feature must my Ford GT already have for this player to work?

Your vehicle must be equipped with a functional USB port and CarPlay support for the plug-and-play connection to operate.
