External CD Player for Hyundai Azera

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019 through 2026 Hyundai Azera models that lack a factory CD drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay interface so the factory radio or steering wheel controls manage playback. No additional wiring or tools are required for installation.

Plug-and-play disc playback

The unit reads standard audio CDs and draws power from the USB connection, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. Allow about two minutes for the disc to finish indexing before use; interrupting this process means restarting the setup with a different disc. The player mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the cable reaches the USB port.

USB-powered operation

Because the device is powered entirely through the car's USB port, it adds no extra load to the vehicle's electrical system beyond the port's rated output. There is no internal fan or moving cooling parts, so operation is silent. The simple USB connection keeps installation clean and avoids any modification to the factory wiring harness.

Questions about this item

Will the Pro Star USB CD Player work with the factory radio and steering wheel controls in my 2019 Hyundai Azera?

Yes, the unit is designed to let you control music playback from the original radio or steering wheel buttons once it is connected to the vehicle's USB port.

How can I confirm the CD player has finished indexing and is ready to use?

Wait at least two minutes after inserting a disc; the indexing process must complete without interruption before the player will operate normally.

Does the package include everything needed for installation, or do I need extra cables or mounts?

The box contains the USB CD player, a printed instruction manual, and the USB cable that plugs directly into the car's port; no additional wiring or tools are required.
