External CD Player for Infiniti QX80

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Infiniti QX80 models that left the factory without one. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from that same connection. Installation requires no extra wiring or tools, and the included printed instructions guide the process.

Plug-and-play capacity and indexing time

The unit reads standard audio CDs and makes them selectable through the factory radio or steering-wheel controls. After inserting a disc, allow roughly two minutes for the indexing routine to finish; interrupting it means restarting the setup from the beginning with a different disc. The drive mounts vertically or horizontally wherever the USB cable reaches.

USB interface limits

Operation depends entirely on the vehicle's USB port supporting CarPlay and supplying enough current for the drive. If the port does not carry the required data protocol or cannot deliver sufficient power, the player will not function. No alternative power input or auxiliary audio output is provided, so compatibility is fixed to the factory USB implementation.
