Pro Star USB CD Player for Jeep Compass 2019-2026

This external CD player adds disc playback to Jeep Compass models from 2019 through 2026 that lack a factory unit. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay system. The device draws power from the same USB connection so no separate power wiring is needed. Music can be controlled using the original radio or steering wheel buttons.

Verify USB port and CarPlay before ordering

Confirm that your Compass has an accessible USB port capable of data transfer and that CarPlay is active on the factory infotainment system. The player mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the supplied cable reaches the port. No tools or extra wiring are required for installation. Allow two minutes for the first disc to finish indexing before use.

Sustained playback from USB power

During extended drives the unit runs continuously on the vehicle's USB supply without needing an external adapter. Disc reading remains stable because the mechanism is designed for constant operation rather than brief bursts. The simple plug-and-play design means there are no software updates or background processes that could interrupt long listening sessions. Interrupting the initial indexing requires restarting the process with a different disc.
