External CD Player for Kia K5

The Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Kia K5 models that lack a factory CD drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay interface. Drivers who still own CD collections can listen through the car's original audio system without replacing the head unit.

Low Power Draw From USB Port

The unit draws all its power from the car's USB socket so there is no extra wiring, fuse taps or battery drain beyond the port's normal output. Operation is silent apart from the disc mechanism and the device adds negligible load to the vehicle's electrical system. No external power adapter or ground connection is required.

Sustained Playback After Indexing

Each disc requires roughly two minutes to finish indexing before playback stabilises; interrupting this process means restarting the procedure with a fresh disc. Once indexed the player maintains continuous audio through the factory radio or steering wheel controls for the duration of the journey. The mechanism is designed for repeated use in a fixed mounting position.
