Pro Star USB CD Player for Range Rover

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc CD drive to 2019-2026 Land Rover Range Rover models that no longer include a factory player. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with Apple CarPlay so audio can be controlled through the existing infotainment screen or steering wheel buttons.

Plug-and-play integration with factory systems

The unit draws power from the USB port and requires no additional wiring or tools for installation. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the cable reaches the port. A two-minute indexing period is required after inserting a disc before the system is ready for use.

For owners who still use physical CDs

This device suits Range Rover drivers who want to keep listening to their CD collection without replacing the factory head unit. Buyers who need multi-disc changing, DVD playback, or Bluetooth streaming from the CD player itself should look at alternative solutions.

Questions about this item

How long does the CD indexing process take before the player is ready?

The manufacturer requires a full two minutes for the disc to finish indexing; interrupting it means starting the setup again from step one with a different disc.

Does the unit draw power from the vehicle USB port or need a separate supply?

It is powered entirely through the car's USB port, so no extra wiring or external adapter is required.

What factory feature must the vehicle already have for this player to connect?

A functional USB port in the 2019-2026 Land Rover Range Rover is required for the plug-and-play connection.
