Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player 2019-2026 Lexus LS Hybrid receiver

Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player

This Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player adds an external disc drive to 2019 through 2026 Lexus LS Hybrid models that no longer include a factory CD player. It connects directly to the vehicle USB port and is powered through that same connection. No extra wiring or tools are required for installation. The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches the port.

Practical limits of the USB interface

The device relies entirely on the car's USB port for both data and power, so the port must supply enough current for the drive mechanism. Installation requires a two-minute indexing period for each new disc before the player becomes fully operational. Interrupting that process means starting the set-up again from step one with a different disc. The cable length restricts mounting locations to spots within reach of the factory USB socket.

Compatibility with Lexus LS Hybrid 2019-2026

This player is designed specifically for 2019 through 2026 Lexus LS Hybrid vehicles and will not function in other makes or model years. Buyers who need a CD solution for a different vehicle should look for a model confirmed for that application. The unit provides CarPlay access through the existing infotainment system once the indexing routine finishes. It is not intended for cars that already have a built-in CD player.
