Compatible Vehicle Range

This Pro Star CD player is designed for the 2019 through 2026 Lexus RZ 450e. It addresses the missing factory disc drive in these electric vehicles. Owners who still use physical media can restore CD playback without replacing the original head unit.

USB Port Requirement

The unit draws power and data from a single USB connection to the vehicle port. No extra wiring, adapters or tools are needed for installation. If the Lexus lacks an accessible USB socket, this device cannot be used.

Mounting Freedom and Indexing Delay

The compact drive can be secured vertically or horizontally on the console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches. A mandatory two-minute indexing period follows each disc insertion; interrupting it requires restarting the full setup with a different CD.

Questions about this item

How does the USB-powered CD player integrate with the 2019-2026 Lexus RZ 450e factory system?

It plugs into the vehicle's USB port, indexes the disc for about two minutes, then lets you control playback through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons via CarPlay.

What USB standard does the cable use and what limits does that impose?

The cable draws power and data from the car's USB port, so the player works without extra wiring but must stay within the port's cable-reach distance.

Where can the unit be mounted in the RZ 450e cabin?

It can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches the port.
