Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player

The Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player is an external single-disc drive designed for 2019 to 2026 Lexus TX Plug-In Hybrid models. It restores CD playback to vehicles that no longer include a factory optical drive. The unit connects directly to the car's USB port for power and data.

Plug-and-play USB installation

The device requires no extra wiring or tools and draws power from the vehicle USB port. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box. A printed instruction manual is included and the system needs roughly two minutes to index each disc before use.

For Lexus owners who still use CDs

This product suits drivers of compatible Lexus TX Plug-In Hybrid vehicles who want to listen to existing CD collections through the factory audio system. Buyers whose vehicles lack a usable USB port or who prefer streaming and digital files will not need this accessory.

Questions about this item

Will the laser pickup need cleaning or replacement after extended use?

The unit has no user-serviceable laser module; if read errors appear the whole drive must be replaced.

What limit appears first during continuous playback?

The vehicle USB port supplies all power, so its current rating caps maximum run time.

Does the drive generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

It draws power only from the USB port and has no internal fan, so heat and noise stay minimal.
