Vehicle-Specific CD Player

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds a single-disc drive to 2019 through 2026 Lincoln MKT models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port for CarPlay integration. No extra wiring or tools are needed for installation. The package includes printed instructions for the setup process.

Sustained Operation Behaviour

The unit draws power from the USB port and requires roughly two minutes to index each inserted disc before playback begins. Interrupting this indexing forces a restart of the full installation sequence with a different disc. Once indexed, control passes to the factory radio or steering wheel buttons. The drive can be mounted vertically or horizontally where the cable reaches.

Deciding Specification

Compatibility is limited to 2019 to 2026 Lincoln MKT vehicles equipped with a USB port that supports CarPlay. Buyers whose vehicles fall outside those model years or lack the required USB integration cannot use this player. There is no internal battery or alternative power source. The single-slot mechanism handles one disc at a time.
