Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player

The Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player is an external single-disc drive designed for 2019 to 2026 Maserati Grecale models that lack a factory CD player. It connects through the vehicle's USB port to add CD playback while integrating with the existing CarPlay interface. The unit draws power directly from the USB connection and can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches.

Check vehicle USB port and CarPlay support

Before ordering, verify that your Grecale is equipped with a functional USB port that supports data transfer and that CarPlay is active on the factory infotainment system. The player requires no extra wiring or tools, but the cable must reach the chosen mounting location from the USB port. Allow two minutes for the first disc to finish indexing; interrupting this process means restarting the setup from step one with a different disc.

USB powered operation with factory controls

In normal use the drive is powered entirely by the vehicle USB port, adding no separate power draw or heat source beyond the port's normal output. Playback is controlled through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons, so there are no additional fan or mechanical noises beyond the disc mechanism itself. The compact design keeps thermal impact negligible inside the cabin.
