External CD Player for Mini Convertible

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019 to 2026 Mini Convertible models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. The device integrates with CarPlay so tracks can be controlled through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons. No extra wiring or tools are required for installation.

For owners who want factory integration

Drivers who prefer a simple add-on that works with the car's existing screen and controls will find this unit suitable. It is not for buyers who need Bluetooth streaming, auxiliary input or an AM/FM tuner because those functions are not included. Anyone whose vehicle does not have a compatible USB port or CarPlay support should look at a different solution.

CarPlay over USB is the deciding spec

The player communicates with the head unit through the USB port using CarPlay, so the car must already support that interface. If the vehicle lacks CarPlay or its USB port is charge-only, the CD player will not function. Verify the car's specification before purchase.
