Pro Star CD Player for Nissan Frontier

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Nissan Frontier models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port for a plug-and-play installation requiring no extra wiring or tools. The device is designed for drivers who still want to listen to their physical music collection through the factory sound system.

USB powered operation with factory controls

The player draws power from the vehicle USB port, eliminating the need for a separate power connection. Audio is routed through the factory radio, so volume and track selection work from the existing dashboard or steering wheel controls. Mounting options include vertical or horizontal placement on the centre console or in the glove box, wherever the cable reaches.

Indexing routine ensures reliable playback

A mandatory two-minute indexing period follows each disc insertion to catalogue the content before playback begins. Interrupting this process requires restarting the full setup sequence with a different disc, as detailed in the printed instruction manual. The accessory bundle includes the CD player unit, USB cable and the step-by-step guide.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Pro Star CD player in my 2019-2026 Nissan Frontier and what step do people often miss?

Plug the USB cable into the vehicle's USB port, then wait the full two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use. Interrupting this step forces a restart with a different disc.

What maintenance or replacement will the Pro Star USB CD player need over time?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts. Keep the lens clean with a standard CD lens cleaner disc and ensure the USB cable remains undamaged for reliable power and data connection.

What limit appears first during long drives with the Pro Star CD player?

Continuous operation depends on the vehicle's USB port supplying steady power. If the port cycles off or current drops, playback will stop until power is restored.
