Adds CD playback to 2019-2026 Nissan Pathfinder via USB CarPlay with steering-wheel control and no wiring required
This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019 to 2026 Nissan Pathfinder models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay interface. No extra wiring or tools are required for installation. The compact device can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box.
After inserting a disc the system needs about two minutes to finish indexing before playback is reliable. Interrupting this process means restarting the full setup routine with a different disc. Once indexed the player reads tracks consistently through the factory radio or steering wheel controls. The USB connection supplies both data and power so there is no separate power lead to manage.
Because the unit draws its power from the car's USB socket it adds no extra load on the electrical system beyond what the port already provides. There are no cooling fans or moving parts other than the disc mechanism itself so noise is limited to the normal sound of the drive spinning. The simple plug-and-play design keeps the installation tidy and avoids any permanent modification to the dashboard.

The unit draws power only from the car's USB port and has no internal fan or amplifier, so heat output is minimal and the electrical load is well within the port's standard supply capability.
The vehicle needs a working USB port that supports CarPlay data communication; the CD player plugs directly into that port with no extra wiring, adapters or power sources required.
Yes, the device is designed to pass track, volume and source commands from the factory radio and steering-wheel buttons through the CarPlay connection so existing controls continue to work.
