Add external CD player to 2019-2026 Nissan Versa

This USB CD player adds a physical disc slot to Nissan Versa models from 2019 to 2026 that no longer include a built-in CD drive. It connects directly to the factory USB port and lets you play audio CDs through the original radio or steering-wheel controls. The unit is designed for drivers who want to keep using their existing CD collection without replacing the factory head unit.

Plugs into the vehicle USB port with no extra wiring

The single deciding specification is that the device draws power and data from the car’s existing USB port, so installation requires no harnesses, adapters or tools. If your Versa lacks a USB port or the port is reserved for another function, this player will not work.

Mounts vertically or horizontally.

The compact unit can be placed on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches, and it operates in either orientation. The most common issue is interrupting the initial two-minute CD indexing process; if that happens, you must insert a different disc and restart the setup from step one.

Questions about this item

How does the USB-powered CD player work once it's plugged into my Versa's USB port?

The Pro Star unit draws power from the car's USB port and indexes the inserted disc for about two minutes before it becomes controllable through the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons.

What connection standard does the player use and what does it limit?

It connects through the vehicle's USB port, so playback speed and power are limited to what that port supplies.

Where can I mount the CD player in my 2019-2026 Versa?

The unit can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches the port.
